How DeskNoria Admin handles available updates and local confirmation.

Update detection

DeskNoria Admin can check the configured update service for a newer release and validate update metadata before installation.

Confirmation

When an Admin update is available, the update is not installed silently. DeskNoria presents a themed confirmation dialog and starts download/install only after the operator approves the update.

Active Remote Desktop session

If an update is approved while a Remote Desktop session is active, DeskNoria can defer application of that update until the active session is closed. The approval is retained; a second confirmation is not required.

Integrity

Current update integrity uses release metadata, size and SHA-256 validation. Application Authenticode/code-signing is not a required part of the current package contract.

Need more help? Collect the relevant DeskNoria Admin/Agent logs and the exact visible error text before troubleshooting. For connection problems, include whether the affected Agent is Windows or Linux and whether the session used P2P or TURN.
