Troubleshoot a Windows installed-Agent session broker that is missing, stale or unreachable.

Meaning

The Windows service could not use the expected interactive session broker/helper for the requested operation.

Common causes

  • Agent update left a stale Session process/binary;
  • service-to-session IPC could not reconnect;
  • the interactive Windows session changed during startup/login;
  • security software blocked helper launch or IPC.

Recovery

Verify the DeskNoria Agent service, end stale DeskNoria Agent Session processes only as part of a controlled recovery, then restart the service or reinstall/update the Agent. Collect service/session logs before restarting if the issue is reproducible.
